Why Work at Rare Earth Ltd

Rare Earth Ltd is a growing commercial exterior cleaning company based in Stone Mountain, GA, serving clients across the entire metro Atlanta region. We are not a franchise. We are not a temp agency operation. We are a privately owned, minority-certified business building real capacity and real careers. When you join our team, you are not a number in a revolving-door labor pool — you are a contributing member of a company that is actively expanding into new service lines, new markets, and new contract vehicles.

We believe that the people who do the work should share in the company's growth. That is why we have a defined career ladder, regular performance reviews with corresponding pay adjustments, and a genuine path from entry-level field technician to crew lead to project manager. Several of our current senior crew members started with zero experience in the industry. We trained them, equipped them, and promoted them because they showed up reliably and took pride in their work. We are looking for more people like that.

Field Technician — Entry Level

Field technicians are the core of our operation. You will be responsible for operating pressure washing and soft-wash equipment, applying cleaning solutions safely and effectively, following production checklists, maintaining equipment, and representing the company professionally at customer properties. No prior experience in pressure washing is required — we provide full training on all equipment and techniques. What we do require: a valid Georgia driver's license with a clean record, the physical ability to perform outdoor labor (lifting, standing, working at heights on ladders), a reliable personal schedule, and a professional attitude. You must be able to pass a background check.

Starting pay: Competitive hourly rate, paid weekly. Starting rate reflects your existing experience and increases at 90-day and 6-month reviews.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Saturday. Some early morning starts required for commercial accounts.
Equipment: All pressure washing equipment, PPE, uniforms, and chemical supplies are provided. You bring your driver's license and your work ethic.

Crew Lead — Experienced

Crew leads manage 2–3 field technicians on job sites, ensure quality standards are met, communicate with customers at job start and completion, manage equipment loading/unloading and maintenance logs, and report to the project manager. Crew leads are expected to know how to operate all equipment confidently, troubleshoot common equipment issues in the field, and make good judgment calls when conditions change during a job (weather, access issues, surface condition surprises).

We promote field technicians into crew lead roles based on performance, reliability, and demonstrated leadership ability — typically within 6–18 months. We also consider external candidates with documented field experience in pressure washing, exterior cleaning, or a related trade. Crew leads receive a higher hourly rate, a per-job production bonus structure, and company vehicle use during work hours.

Requirements: 1+ year of pressure washing or exterior cleaning experience, valid Georgia driver's license, clean driving record, ability to manage a small team professionally.

Project Manager — Commercial Division

Project managers oversee multiple concurrent job sites, handle commercial client communication, manage crew scheduling and logistics, produce client-facing service reports, and work with ownership on estimating and bidding. This is an office-and-field hybrid role — you will spend time in the field supervising crews and time in the office or remotely handling scheduling, documentation, and client follow-up.

The project manager role requires strong organizational skills, professional communication ability (email, phone, and in-person), experience in field service operations, and comfort with basic software tools (scheduling apps, email, Google Docs or equivalent). Background in property services, construction, facilities management, or a related field is preferred. This role carries salary compensation, performance bonus eligibility, and the ability to grow into an operations leadership position as the company expands.

Requirements: 2+ years of field service or construction project management experience, valid driver's license, strong written and verbal communication skills.
